Playbook for shop owners

  1. Deposit Diwali cash collections before your city's closure, or the first working day after.
  2. Ask suppliers to accept UPI or NEFT during the week of 8–11 November instead of cheques.
  3. Keep enough cash for wages and Diwali bonuses — ATMs run short around long weekends.
  4. File GSTR-1 and pay GST a day early; portals slow down near due dates.

Plan cash and payments in DAM

Steps use DAM's in-app search.

  1. Open Search and type Day Book to see every receipt and payment by date, including cash in hand.
  2. Search Pay Money to record supplier payments made by UPI or bank, choosing the mode with Add Payment Mode.
  3. Search Reports and open GSTR-1 or GSTR-3B to get filing numbers ready before 11 and 20 November.
