If you run a milk round, a water-jar supply, or a newspaper line, your billing headache is not the rate, it is the counting. Each customer takes a slightly different quantity, some skip days for travel, and at month end you sit with a diary trying to reconstruct who took how much. One wrong tally and you either lose money or lose a customer.

The fix: a daily recurring delivery. Set the item, daily quantity and rate once. Each day logs automatically, you toggle off any leave days, and at month end the app produces one consolidated bill with a UPI QR.

How to set up daily delivery billing in DAM

From the home screen, tap the search bar (or ⌘K on web), search New Recurring and select the default entry book.

  1. On the setup page, select your customer. Add them with name and phone if they are new.
  2. Tap Add Product or Service, select your item (for example Milk), set the daily quantity and price, then tap Add Product.
  3. Choose the start date for the delivery.
  4. For frequency, select Daily. You can also pick specific days of the week if you deliver only on some days.
  5. Set the end condition: for ongoing customers leave it on Never, or set an end date.
  6. Tap Create Recurring Workflow. If you have past delivery dates to log, select them and tap Generate. The daily workflow is now active.
  7. To review it, search Recurrings and open the customer's workflow. The top shows the start date, daily schedule and item details; below is the full timeline of every daily delivery.

Skip the leave days (so the bill stays honest)

When a customer is on leave and milk was not delivered on certain days, fix it in a few taps:

  1. Open the customer's workflow and tap Select.
  2. Pick the dates that were not delivered.
  3. Tap Set Item Delivery and toggle the delivery off.
  4. Those dates are marked as not delivered, so they drop off the monthly total automatically.

Generate the month-end bill

At the end of the month, tap Generate PDF and choose Consolidated statement. You get a complete month-end bill showing every delivered date, the quantities, the total amount, and a UPI payment QR when your UPI ID is set. Share it on WhatsApp and the customer scans to pay the exact amount.

Stop counting milk in a diary

Frequently asked questions

How do I bill daily milk or newspaper customers monthly?

Set up a daily recurring delivery for each customer with the item, daily quantity and price. Deliveries log against them each day, and at month end you generate one consolidated statement that totals every delivered day into a single bill.

What if a customer is on leave and skips some days?

Open the customer's recurring workflow, tap Select, pick the leave dates, tap Set Item Delivery and toggle delivery off. Those days are marked as not delivered, so the monthly bill stays accurate.

How does the customer pay the monthly bill?

The consolidated statement carries a UPI payment QR with the exact total when your UPI ID is set, so the customer scans and pays directly to your bank account.
